MyEnglishNameIs uses AI (Artificial Intelligence — computer software that can reason and generate text) to suggest English names based on the personality profile you provide. The suggestions are recommendations, not guarantees. Names are drawn from real, documented English-language names; we never invent names. You remain solely responsible for the name you choose to adopt. We make no claim that any suggested name is legally available, culturally appropriate in every context, or free from trademark or other conflicts — you should conduct your own research before formally adopting a name.

3. Intellectual property

The website design, code, and brand name “MyEnglishNameIs” are owned by us. The English name suggestions generated for you are yours to use freely — we make no IP (Intellectual Property — legal ownership of creative works) claim over the output. English names themselves cannot be owned.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use the service at your own risk.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or £10, whichever is greater).

The service relies on third-party providers including OpenAI (AI model provider) and Vercel (hosting). We are not responsible for any disruption or failure of those third-party services.
